I just double checked and see that we do support importing from RSS feeds but don't currently have a public facing RSS feed for MyVR hosted blogs.
I wanted to follow up to this thread and let you know that we've added support for flat per stay fees and these will now be synced to Airbnb.
I just wanted to bump this thread and say that Airbnb just released support for per stay fees and we've implemented that new functionality. There are no steps needed on your part to include those per stay fees as they'll get picked up when Airbnb pulls your listing next.
Thanks for the question, @Surfers-Ridge!
The key to syncing extra guest fees to Airbnb is by creating a fee that looks like this:
The Airbnb API rate and fee support allows us to sync:
This means that we're not able to send any flat per stay fees (except the cleaning fee and security deposit). Percent based taxes and fees are optionally baked into the nightly rate. Flat per night fees are also baked into the nightly rate.
Hope that helps!
Each partner interprets the iCalendar feeds a little differently rather than to the specification. For this reason, we've added some advanced controls to overcome the situation you're experiencing.
From your Calendar Export settings for the iCalendar feed in MyVR. You can add or remove days from calendar events so that the feed reflects the differences in how each channel is interpreting the feed.
I'm assuming this is for all events sent to TripAdvisor for this calendar.
These are the advanced controls I'm referring to:
Thanks for the question. Hope that helps.
The current process to respond to a guest review using the HomeAway for Owners offering is to open a support ticket from your MyVR account with the following information:
Feel free to include multiple responses in one ticket. Some folks like to wait for a few reviews, then respond to a group of reviews all at once.
Hey @Kacee-Jackson ,
You really only need one or the other but not both. The full integration is far superior in many ways, the biggest being the time between when changes are made to availability and when they are synced. For the iCalendar syncing, delays range from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on the channel provider. The full integration is always much faster which decreases your chances of getting a double booking.
We ask that you import your calendars initially, using the basic iCal, to ensure that the availability is correct in MyVR prior to syncing. After the initial setup of the channel management listing sync, you can pause or disable the syncing on the calendars.
This is true for all channels. Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway / VRBO and FlipKey.
Looks like your connection to MyVR Community was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
