Can I Use My Message Templates for Automated Emails?
I’m a MyVR newbie and in the process of setting up my system. I’ve got alot a templates that I used in my old system and I started to set them up in “templates” here. But several of them are templates that I’d like to go out automatically at various stages either during the inquiry process or after the guest has booked.
I’m conduced as to whether I should be creating new templates under “Automation” or if I can use the same ones.

Hi @Carole. The templates that you create under Setup > Message Templates > My Templates can be used for Inquiry Responders and Stay Emails but not for Transactional Emails.
For Inquiry Responders, you can choose a template under “Send This Template”
For stay emails, you can choose a template under “What Template Do You Want to Send?”
For Transactional Emails, you jump straight into editing the MyVR default template
