I've been running some SEO score checkers on our website, and they say I have no H2 headings. Is that a text size issue? How can I make a heading that would be considered h2 for SEO purposes?
You can add an H2 text heading with text tool. (second largest heading). However I really wouldn't worry about it, it's an out-dated metric. It's just good practice to make sure your pages are titled correctly.
@Tristan-Brotherton Thanks for the input. I haven't heard anywhere else that the H2 is an outdated metric, so that is good news. It does seem rather artificial to force someone to put keywords in a heading just to help SEO -- Google seems to be growing up, lol. Thanks again!
In general, nobody knows but google. People can make a hypothesis, but best practise is to enforce good "structure". IE have good headings, and body text. H2 is often used as a secondary content title in the body of your website content.
