Adding Trusting Trademark to MyVR Website
-
I am adding a trusted trademark to my domain hosted by GoDaddy and I am asked to insert the Trusted Trademark code on my website (created using MyVR). Does anyone know where I should insert the code, and how to do this? Thanks!

@Gary—Gena-Davis - I think that would depend upon where you want it to appear. Can you use the layout editor to designate a place for it? I assume the trademark is in an image form, so you could just insert the image where you want it?

@Gary—Gena-Davis If they gave you the HTML code for the trusted trademark, you can use the HTML widget to place the image where you want on the site. I would suggest using one of the Columns to get the position “just right” as much as MYVR will allow based on the size of the image specified in the HTML code. You should also be able to alter this value within the code itself if those options are defined.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for answering @Gary-Gena-Davis 's question, @Darrell-Looney112 . You’re absolutely correct, an HTML widget is the way to go. You can add one of those using our Layout Editor.
Best,
Danny

I used the HTML widget and added the code, but nothing happened! Please help, thanks!

@Gary—Gena-Davis sometimes it doesn’t appear in the editor but does on the website. Do you see it there?

Hi Jenny,
Trusted Site in Go Daddy indicates that my Trustmark is successfully displaying on my website, however, we don’t see it anywhere. Thanks for your help. Plus, we are getting this strange message when Using Google chrome from a work computer that indicates this is connection is not private and someone might be trying to hack in and steal your data (i.e. credit cards, etc.) We could not access the website beyond that message. Can you help? Thanks!!!

@Gary—Gena-Davis What is your website address?

I think you’re seeing that type of warning message because the code is “phoning home” to send interaction data back to the trust server. This could look like an attempt at a data breach to some malware scanners etc…
Hope this helps!
