Website Link Shows a Picture from the Gallery Images
How do I change the picture that shows up when I send someone a link to my website?

Hi - could you explain a bit further which website link you are referencing?

Are you describing links on Facebook? If so, you can set that yourself using meta tags:

These tags can be set for your website in Websites > My Websites > [select website] > Additional Options > Meta Tags:

@Markus-Nordvik I have the same issue and unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be correct.

There are defaults set for each template for the og:image meta tag, and it is not exposed through the meta data editor. Is there someplace else it might be accessed?

After looking further into this issue, I’ve found that you are correct. We currently don’t provide a method of altering default meta tags. That is definitely something we could improve about our website builder, so please submit it as a feature request.

            Cheers,
            Danny

Thanks. I’m doing some FB marketing and the picture with a fence and sand leading to the beach shows up. Wish there was a way to have the actual pictures in my website show. I’ll see if I can submit as a feature request. Thanks Julie

Has this issue been resolved? Keen to replace the beach and fence stock image…
