Collecting Additional Guest Information

Does anyone else collect additional guest information when you have a new booking? If so, how do you collect it, and when?
I currently ask for the guest’s home address, and the names of the guests staying in the unit. I collect this with HelloSign when I ask them to sign the rental agreement that way. That way I have it before I confirm their reservation.
Do others ask for other info, or collect it in a different way?

We have a rental application that asks for the primary guest name, occupation, employers name and address, the names and ages of all guests including pets, plus home insurance details. The house rules are reinforced on the applicaiton and they must sign and date. This allows us to screen guests more comprehensively and allows our property owners to feel more secure about the folks staying in their homes.
