SOLVED Adding a Signature to Your MyVR Messages
-
Is there a way to insert an automatic “Signature” to the end of a non-automated reply that could include name, property/business, phone, etc?
Something like:
John Hughes
The Cinnamon Beach House480.788.1213
This would be a great feature.
Thanks,
John -
There is not currently a way to do this where you merely add a signature to an existing message, however you can build message templates which contain a signature at the bottom.
Here’s a support article that outlines Message Templates:

I created a “reply template” (see below) that I pull up for every non-automated reply that I send that will be a customized response. Then I just fill in the meat of the message.
I actually have about 20 template messages - some automated and some not, that all have this same shell.
Hope this helps.
Jenny
Shell Template:
****Hi {{ first_name }},
If you have any questions, just give me a call!
Thanks,
Jenny

That’s a great solution, Jenny. I’d add that you need to apply the template BEFORE you type your message because when you apply a template, it wipes out anything you’ve currently typed (something I’d like us to consider changing at some point). But you can apply the template (with your signature) and then edit the content above the signature.

Yes that’s true, although sometimes I like the “start over” option! -
