Solved Responding to Contact Requests

When someone submits a message via the “contact request” form on our web sites, the message is then delivered to the “other messages” portion of our dashboards. Is there a way to respond to these contacts outside of converting it to an inquiry (not all of them are those types of messages)?

Unfortunately MyVR doesn’t support messaging without an associated inquiry. You can turn any Other message into an inquiry to enable messaging. When converting an Other message into an inquiry, you need to select a property and enter a number of adults. The first name, last name, and renter email fields are also required, but they should automatically be filled for you.
Everything else can be left blank, and all inquiry information can be editted later using the Modify Inquiry option on the inquiry detail page.
