I have this automated email in my templates:

      0_1611341259461_Screen Shot 2021-01-22 at 1.45.01 PM.png

it’s a system default - it’s turned on, but I’ve never changed any settings.

I can’t figure out what triggers it. I require address for all reservations, but none of my channel reservations come in with that. Yet, that doesn’t trigger this email to be sent. SO…I’m wondering, what DOES trigger it?

      Thanks,

      Jenny

        Hi Jenny,

I like it. But it’s not available in my Message Templates.
I imagine you could set something up in Automation to trigger that going out.

Like you, I don’t ever get their address when they book through a channgel. Given that I’ve created a template that triggers with every new reservation that sends an email to them that is similar (“We need a bit more info regarding your stay …”). This email includes a link to our Guest Info form, which is a form they complete with their address as well as a list of the guests staying in the property.
It is triggered by a new reservation.

@carole that’s similar to my process at the moment, but it doesn’t actually populate the missing fields in MyVR. I still have to manually do the updates.

@Jenny-Oest Wow, you are right - I didn’t think about that because I’m collecting that info in Zoho CRM via the form.
Are you manually adding the address info into MyVR?

@carole a5 the moment I enter it directly into Quickbooks, but I’m working on integration and it’s best served if MyVR is the source of all the customer data.

@jenny-oest Have you played with using Zapier to intergrate it? I have a zap that pushes every inquiry into Zoho & then the new contact is updated with the form info - I wonder if you could do the same with Quickbooks?

@carole yes I have. I use Zapier for several tasks.

@jenny-oest I received a few messages from Jesse Ehret at Ximplifi this week. They are working on a QBO Integration for MyVR.

An important detail they are addressing, from our viewpoint as CAL DRE regulated Real Estate Brokers, they are going to obtain correct Payment Data and Dates for ABB & TA.

@joseph-sennish Yes - I’m already planning to be involved. I anticipate there will be kinks to work out, BUT I’m SO excited about the possibilities!
