Wordpress Website Integration/Building Questions

Good afternoon! I am looking to build our website in Wordpress and want to know if anyone else has experience in this. I am aware of the calendar widget and the booking widget. However, I would like to include a search box on a properties page that refines a user’s search by property availability. How could I do this without using JavaScript to pull in each individual property?

I tried several different approaches to the problem using the API and a JSON plugin to bring in the data. There always seemed to be issues, although the API worked great in straight php.
After reviewing the time & effort (you are duplicating every bit of work you’re already doing on MyVR to send Properties out through the VR Channels) required to create and maintain the website in WordPress, plus cost, in August 2019, we decided to drop our:
Server $78 p mo
CDN $10 p mo
JetPack AnnualAnd moved to a MyVr website.
I’ve since found a $7.88 p month WordPress Hosting plan with NameCheap that includes a CDN, but I’m fine where I am.
After making the change, we went from 6746 Users, in 2019 to 7643 in 2020, an overall 13.3% increase.
Only 2882 of the 2019 Users at 1.42 Sessions per with a 60.68% bounce rate came from the WordPress site while the MyVR website had been generating 3931 Users at 2.04 Sessions with only a 55% bounce rate.
In 2020, bounce rate dropped to 51.06%, sessions came in at 1.93 and income versus 2019 increased about 20%
