Imbed a PDF into page
-
Has anyone uploaded a PDF to imbed in one of their pages, that is not a contract? I have some documentation (not a contract) I want to upload so people can view and print as a PDF. I’m not seeing how to do that anywhere in the community nor help documents.

I’m thinking you could put a picture of the pdf on the website page, then add a link to the actual document that is stored elsewhere, perhaps on Google Drive or Dropbox. They can then download and print from there. I think that is how I would approach it.

Hi Mary,
You can use MyVR custom fields to upload a PDF file.
See this help article for example, https://help.myvr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019149991-Using-custom-fields-on-a-multi-page-website.
You will use the “File upload” custom field type.
Please contact our support team if you have any questions!

@lindsay-barrett Is the guest then able to download and/or print the PDF when it is uploaded this way?

Hi Ann,
Yes, this creates a downloadable link which can be added to a MyVR website.

@lindsay-barrett Oooo, good to know; thanks!

You can probably convert that into either a text or image file. For free solutions, try OpenOffice or GIMP.
