Multiple property calendars on one web page?
I have three cabins, and I’m trying to show all three of their respective calendars on the same MyVr website page - like a “calendars” page. Is there a way to use the calendar widget to do this with multiple properties?
Thanks in advance!!
Following this …
Yes you can do this. Open MyVR and go to the applications page. Look for the “calendar widget” app.
Follow the instructions to create the calendar widgets for each different property.
Once you’ve done that, Open the website editor in layout mode. Create / find the page you want, and add an HTML component where you want the calendar. Then place in the code from the calendar widget. Do this for each calendar you want to embed.
@tristan-brotherton Woohoo! I figured it out. Thanks so much for the help - exactly what I needed!
@tristan-brotherton Hello again Tristan. I thought I had it figured out - everything looked great on the desktop and mobile previews in editor, but when I published, the calendars are being placed adjacent to each other - even when I put something between the html blocks. Specifically, I am trying to label each calendar - either with a text box or a button - and when I publish it places the calendars together and the other elements after. I’m thinking it has to do with the html “// Optionally specify an element ID of where to draw the calendar. // If omitted calendar will be drawn whereever this” Any ideas?
Your suspicion sounds correct.
Try making a new div with a unique ID. Place that DIV where you would like the calendar to render. Make sure your calendar code is set to target it.
Writing a DIV with an ID is very easy, its simply.
<div id="myDiv1"> </div>
In this example the id is myDiv1 - id’s are case sensitive.
Try making a new div with a unique ID.
I’m sorry I’m just seeing this now. I honestly have no idea what you’re asking me to do with the code - I don’t know this stuff. Can you give me a little more guidance? Thank you!!
