Leap Day February 29

Just a heads up…

2020 is a leap year and has an extra day, February 29th.

I use custom rates for my rental rates. My winter rate ends on the last day of February and my higher spring rate starts on March 1.

Leap Day, February 29, defaulted to my base price - which is my highest peak season price.

I had to enter a separate rate for Leap Day, otherwise my quotes for that weekend were extremely high. I couldn’t just add February 29 as the end date to my winter rates because my rates repeat annually and it would save as February 28.

If you have to add February 29 to your custom rates, make sure to check it with the price tester.
