Calendar dates show as blocked (colored red) when an inquiry has been sent--gives false impression that the dates are reserved

I have a weekend on my calendar that two people want. I sent a quote to the first person, then when the second person inquired they thought the dates were unavailable because the calendar is blocking those dates. How do I undo this? I only want dates to show as blocked on my calendar if there is an actual reservation that has been paid for.
