property name on browser tab
One of our properties recently changed hands. The new owners changed the name of the condo. When on that property’s page on our website, though, the browser tab still shows the old condo name. I thought it might just take a day or two to populate through, but it hasn’t. I’ve looked for a setting but can’t find one. Can someone point me in the right direction? See photo.
I believe you’ll want to edit the SEO settings:
Hope that helps! Let me know!
@jenny-oest Actually, it’s not the Properties page that would affect the tab for a specific property, but the Property Template, just below the one you circled. But when I look at the SEO settings there, it tells me “You can edit SEO settings for a specific property by opening it in the editor.” But I don’t know how to open a specific property in the editor – do you?
@ann-karako - This should walk you through it:
Under Pages & Content, select the Property Template dropdown menu and choose the Content Editor:
You’ll be prompted with a drop down menu to select which property you want to customize:
On the next page, go up to the three horizontal lines as noted here, and select SEO & Settings:
There you can select SEO & Keywords, and on the top line, enter what you want to have appear on your browser tab:
And here are the results:
Hope that helps!
@jenny-oest YES, thank you!! It was the three little lines at the top that I didn’t know about. Problem is now fixed. Thanks so much!
