SOLVED Action Button for the Community?
-
I love the icon button that lets me jump back to my dashboard from the community page. Will there also be a button on our main dashboard at some point to bring us here to the community?
-
Hi @Jenny-Oest
We are currently working on deeply integrating the MyVR Community into the main dashboard. This will include a button to get to the community from the main dashboard. Stay tuned!
-
@Danny-Eiden excellent! I should have known you would!
-
Now how do I mark this as solved?
-
@Jenny-Oest I have actually already marked it as solved, but in the future you can follow these steps
- Click on “Topic Tools”
- Select “Mark as Solved”
-
Except my button doesn’t say that - it says Mark as Unsolved?
Does that mean it was already marked solved? Didn’t know I’d already done that. Sorry about that
-
Hi Jenny,
I’ve had the same issue. Some threads give me the option to mark as solved and some do not. I don’t know why, but Danny is our resident forum expert and will look into this and tell us what’s going on. Enjoy your day! -
@Jenny-Oest and @Jonathan-Murray
I’m sorry that my instructions on how to mark a question as solved were a bit confusing. Once a question is marked as solved, the button will change from the “Mark as Solved” I posted to the “Mark as Unsolved” that Jenny posted.
To help clear up the whole question system, I posted a topic explaining everything about questions in the MyVR Community. You can find it here
Cheers!

Ah, I thought the thread I was trying to mark a thread as solved was unsolved at the time, but perhaps it was already solved and I just didn’t notice. Probably user error on my part.

Hi @Jenny-Oest. As promised, we’ve released the MyVR Community integrations into the main dashboard!
You can now get to the MyVR Community from within the MyVR dashboard by opening the support panel and clicking “Open the Community”.
Furthermore, MyVR Community results are shown alongside our Help Center articles when you search for assistance. If you are unable to find an article or post that addresses your concern, you can jump to creating a forum post by clicking “More Help” and then “Ask the Community”.

@Danny-Eiden - excellent and thorough on all counts! I’ve come to expect nothing less.
