@Tristan-Brotherton - I'd like to see the requested reservation entered as a "tentative" reservation so that we can see what they were trying to book. It could be flagged as a "failed payment" and placed in our inbox.
Does anyone else provide cleaning services to other hosts? And have you set up payment through your myvr website?
How have you done this , and what does it look like? Im considering adding a cleaning service page, and when clients want to book one of our cleaners, use our website to do so. Any ideas?
This goes for consulting services, furniture rental, etc.
Recently got an email from @CJ-Avilla which reviewed details of the Airbnb's cancellation policies. I remembered selecting a mid-level policy that would allow a 3% commission but decided to err on the side of caution and double check.
Following the instructions, I navigated to my booking policy channel overrides and see that I actually have Strict as my selected policy. As I remembered, this is the highest level of cancellation which comes with a 3% commission, rather than 5.

However, when I look at my actual listing on Airbnb I see that my listing reflects a Super Strict policy with a 5% commission to Aibnb.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Would appreciate any advice.
If I understand you correctly, you are looking to create a report that will have the reservation information for all reservations with a check in date between an earliest and latest date. While you can't select a latest check in date, you can select an earliest check in date and a latest check out date before exporting reservation data.
This should narrow down the export to roughly the range you are looking for. Once you have the CSV file, you can sort the rows by the check in date and remove any rows at the end that have check in dates past the latest check in date that you desire in the report. This should leave you with only the reservations that have a check in date between an earliest and latest date.
If you simply desire the total number of reservations with a check in date between an earliest and a latest check in date, you can still follow the steps I described above to create the spreadsheet. Once you've done this, you can look at the row number of the last filled-in row of the sheet. Subtract one from that number (for the sheet's header), and you should get the total number of reservations with a check in date between an earliest date and latest date.
Finally, you can also purchase a reservation data import service (we're happy to do a custom export instead of an import) through us to generate the report you desire.
Hi @Cindy-Nelson those rates will remain in your account, but they won't ever be applied. You would need to manually delete them. While I can see a case for automatically deleting them, I would also be concerned about any changes made to rates automatically that did that (for example, what if you had intended to have "repeat annually" turned on but then we deleted the rate). Thanks!
If you adjust the quote to reflect the NEW NET AMOUNT that you need to collect in the currency in which you originally charged, then when the terms are accepted (or you accept them) then the refund should automatically process. This does NOT refund the security deposit. You will still be able to refund that as you normally do.
Now, that said, if you are changing the currency mid-transaction, it might be better to refund 100% in the US dollars, and the switch and re-charge them in Canadian dollars? Otherwise the deposit refund will also be tricky.
@Jenny-Oest I love this. Yes! i'm playing with groups, and the idea that i can have unlimited groups mean that I can easily re-organize properties by who's going what on each one. I would still have to create a separate email from each pool cleaner vs. having a dynamic field, right?
MyVR peeps - anything coming soon about integrating TripAdvisor and VacationHomeRentals?
This is something that TripAdvisor has been working on (basically, adding VHR to their integrated platform so that it becomes part of their bundled offering for integrated partners). I don't know the latest timing on this, but we can check in with them and will do so. We should actually see them in a few days at VRMA.
